Bagnères-de-Luchon is not a Tour de France stage by chance. For more than a century, the world’s best climbers have battled here on passes that have become legendary: Col de Peyresourde (1,569 m), Portet d'Aspet, Port de Balès and the climb to Superbagnères.

Every summer, thousands of cyclists from France, England and the United States come to ride these same roads and experience that same thrill.

Luchon Aneto Trail: an event followed by runners from around the world

Every year in early July, the Luchon Aneto Trail (LAT) turns the valley into a playground for trail runners from across the globe. With more than 3,500 participants over distances ranging from 10 km to over 100 km, it is one of the major trail events in the Pyrenees, carrying a UTMB Index label.

Un merveilleux séjour en famille dans cette magnifique maison. L’accueil était chaleureux, proactif avec des instructions claires avant notre arrivée. L’arrivée s’est fait en personne, avec une visite de la maison. La maison est magnifique (comme sur les photos) et bien équipée (machine à laver, lave vaisselle, grand frigo, machine à raclette …). Le linge (draps, serviettes …) inclus facilite la vie car pas besoin de les amener ! De grands espaces, des chambres confortables et spacieuses, de la literie de qualité, la cheminée, l’espace jeu (billard …), tout est parfait pour un séjour en famille. Le jardin est grand et même si nous n’avons pas pu en profiter à cause du temps, la maison doit aussi être très agréable en été. La décoration est faite avec goût. La propreté était au top. Possibilité de garer la voiture dans le jardin. La rue est très calme (sens unique) et à 2 minutes à pied du centre ville. Vraiment parfait ! Nous espérons pouvoir revenir l’année prochaine !

Alojamiento reformado y por tanto todo nuevo. Acogedora, bonita, bien equipada y muy bien ubicada. Es muy espaciosa y con un agradable y amplio jardín. Hemos pasado varios días y todos hemos estado muy cómodos y nos ha gustado tanto a los mayores como a las jóvenes. Trato muy amable, cercano y fácil en la gestión. Repetiríamos sin duda.

How many guests can the house accommodate?

Maison Milady can host up to 12 guests in 5 bedrooms across 200 sqm. It is the ideal house for large families, groups of friends or small team retreats.

Where exactly is the house located?

Maison Milady is located right in the centre of Bagnères-de-Luchon, nicknamed the Queen of the Pyrenees (Haute-Garonne). Everything is within walking distance from the house: the thermal baths, the Superbagnères lifts, the market and the restaurants. Toulouse is 1h30 away and Spain (Val d'Aran) just 30 minutes away.

Does the house have a garden or outdoor area?

Yes, the house has a private garden, ideal for relaxing, having lunch outdoors or enjoying some quiet time after a day in the mountains.

What is the history of the house?

Maison Milady is a stone house built in 1860, one of the first in the area. It has been fully renovated to combine the charm of its original architecture with contemporary comfort. From the windows, you enjoy views of the Venasque massif.

Is household linen provided?

✓ Yes, included. Bed sheets, pillowcases, bath towels and household linen are provided for all guests. You do not need to bring anything.

Is the kitchen fully equipped?

✓ Fully equipped. The kitchen has everything needed to cook for 12 people: oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, kitchen utensils and a full set of tableware.

What is the minimum stay?

The minimum stay is 3 nights outside school holidays. During school holidays (except summer), the minimum stay is 7 nights. Contact us to confirm the conditions that apply to your period.

What are the payment terms?

When booking, a 30% deposit is required and must be paid within 7 days to confirm your stay. The balance is due 7 days before arrival.

Are cleaning fees included?

✓ Yes, included. Cleaning fees are already included in the price of your stay. No additional fee will be charged for this.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation is free within 15 days of booking. After that, the cancellation conditions apply. We recommend taking out cancellation insurance to protect yourself in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Is proof of insurance required?

Yes. Before signing the rental agreement, we will ask for your holiday home insurance certificate (or home insurance including holiday cover). It covers any damage caused to the property during your stay. This document is required to finalise your booking.

Arrival & departure

What are the arrival and departure times?

Check-in is from 5 pm and check-out is before 10 am. Arrangements may be possible depending on availability, so feel free to discuss this with us in advance.

How does check-in work?

A concierge based in Luchon will welcome you at the house and hand over the keys.

Yes, the house has a dedicated space to store and secure your bikes.

What activities can you do directly from the house?

From Maison Milady, you have access to an exceptional playground: road cycling (Peyresourde, Superbagnères, Portillon, Port de Balès passes and more), mountain biking (17 marked routes, 269 km), hiking (GR10, peaks above 3,000 m), skiing (Superbagnères, Peyragudes, Le Mourtis), thermal baths 10 minutes on foot, plus paragliding, rafting, canyoning and via ferrata. Spain (Val d'Aran) is also just 30 minutes away.

Are the thermal baths within walking distance?

✓ Yes, a 10-minute walk away. The Luchon thermal baths offer a natural hammam (unique in Europe), spa, treatments and baths, ideal for recovering after a long bike ride or hike.
